THERE FOLLOWS INFORMATION ABOUT OUR 2011
EXHIBITION
Detailed information is available by clicking on the
sections shown on the left.
The exhibition now in its fourth year goes from strength to
strength the move last year to St Joseph's College proved to be a
great success with more room, much better natural and artificial
lighting and improved publicity that bought increased sales and
profit for donation to local good causes.
Building on the success of last year we have joined with the
Reading Cultural Partnership in conjunction with Reading Borough
Council to put this exhibition firmly on the map as one of the
Thames Valleys premier art exhibitions open to both professional
and amateur artists.
This year we will have more space with an additional gallery,
giving us an increased area for display of ceramics and
sculpture and our usual displays of hung and folio artworks. We
will also be providing light refreshments. A greater publicity
campaign, a new image and a newly designed web site and some
exciting and informative art workshops run in association with the
Reading Guild of Artists will also widen the appeal.
We hope to attract more visitors, sell more works and raise a
greater sum to donate to local good causes.
We are sure you will want to be part of the exhibition, there are
cash prizes and commendations to be won by exhibitors whose work
catches the eye of our expert judging panel.
